Products qualify for the EnerLogic™ seal meet requirements set forth by ENERGY STAR®, among others. There are currently almost 400 qualified Manitowoc Foodservice products that have earned ENERGY STAR rating. ENERGY STAR® is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy, helping all people save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices. According to ENERGY STAR, qualified products can save up to as much as 50% over their conventional counterparts.
ENERGY STAR recognizes six categories for commercial food service products. Manitowoc Foodservice has products categorized in six of them. The following categories are: |
